Everlux photoluminescent safety signs are non-electronic signs that direct people to safety, even when there is little or no light.  They absorb light when it is available and release it slowly when the light source is taken away.  The signs can guide people to safety in complete darkness, hours after the light source is removed.

Why Should I Install Photoluminescent Safety Signs?

• The Irish Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 state that safety signs in areas with poor natural light require the use of “phosphorescent colours, reflective materials or artificial lighting”.  Everlux safety signs are made with phosphorescent materials whose photoluminescent properties are in excess of those required by international standards (e.g. ISO 16069).
• Both the Irish Safety, Health and Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007 and the 2006 Building Regulations Technical Guidance Document B require that the location of fire fighting equipment and escape routes are clearly indicated by signs.
